First you sims have to be partners. They reach this relationship state by repeatedly doing romantic interaction towards each other. All romantic interactions are marked with purple color.
When they are partners and you are ready to propose; mark one of your sims and click on the other sim and select the option Propose marriage. A list will open up on the right where you can select ring. I always go for one of the 2 first options that you only need simoleons for but then you might end up with a turned down proposal.
If at first you don't succeed simply try and try again until the proposal is accepted.
Finally the sim will accept and your couple will now have relationship status Engaged.
Keep performing romantic interaction (why not some woo-hoo?) to max up this relationship scale and you can then get married.
When you have filled out the scale for relation Engaged the option Get married becomes available.
To get married; mark one of your
sims and click on the other sim and select the option Get married.
They will hold hands and celebrate and their relationship is now listed as married.
Sims have to be married in order to be able to have babies.

Weekly task - Play with a sandcastle at the beach.
For this task you need a toddler or preteen. You also have to unlock the beach using Sporty Orbs.
Activate the town navigation by tapping on the house icon - select the island icon. On the island the beach is available if you have unlocked it, go here and use the whistle to bring your sim to this location.
On the shore there will be at least one sandcastle. Click on the castle to get the option Build sandcastle. The action takes 2 hours to complete.

Building a second floor
This video is dedicated to my 6 year old nephew Samuel that called me today on Facetime asking me how to build a second story on his house.
To be able to perform this action you have to be on level 17 and complete the mission multi story renovations and you can build it.
Click on the chair icon to open the home store. Go to the house section and select the floor construction tab just right of the room tab. The icon look like three sheets of paper floating on top of each other - the icon is trying to represent the three floors you can build.
A blue grid will appear marking out the new floor, it will also show the cost for the new floor.
Once you buy it you can place rooms on the second floor.
To reach the second floor you need a staircase in place. It is find just right of the floor construction tab in the home store and has a stair icon :)
The cheapest stair will set you back 30,000 simoleons. When you place the stairs make sure your sim can reach the second floor by marking any spot on the second floor. If the sim cannot reach it make sure the entrance to the stairs are not blocked by any furniture.

I want to go to work at the Stadium as much as I can

First your sim has to start working at the stadium. You start a new career either in the career education tab in the right panel or by going to the town view and click on a place of business. Here our sim wants to be an athlete so the Stadium has to be build before starting this life dream.
In the careers and education panel you can see what work schedule your sim has - my current time for this sim is between 6 am and 11 am. When a sim gets a promotion the schedule might change.
When the clock is in this interval make sure your sim in inactive. Then a blinking brief case should appear under the sim on the simtracker. If not try opening the careers & education tab and clicking on the brief case that is associated with this sim.
A question should appear "Send sims name to work?". Click yes on this prompt and of to work they go.
